A dog was killed by exposed power lines... company offers family $200,000. They turn it down and want $740,000 because that is the CEO's salary for the previous year. The fact that people are using the law to punish rather than find justice is scary to me. here

Ok and here, a court did the right thing and the appeals court went and turned it back to the wrong thing. Woman gets $100,000 because her cat was killed by a Rotti and she was sad. here
