A salesman was calling on one of his customers when he happened to notice a pig in the pigsty which had a wooden leg. He asked the farmer about this and the farmer replied " that's a very valuable pig. She woke us up one night when the house caught fire and saved or lives". The salesman replied "that's well and good, but why the wooden leg?" "Well" said the farmer, "with a pig as valuable as she is, you wouldn't want us to eat it all at once, would you?"
